Encouraging men to masturbate...

Posted July 17, 2003 3:29 PM.

Masturbation cuts cancer risk: "Men could reduce their risk of developing prostate cancer through regular masturbation, researchers suggest. They say cancer-causing chemicals could build up in the prostate if men do not ejaculate regularly. And they say sexual intercourse may not have the same protective effect because of the possibility of contracting a sexually transmitted infection, which could increase men's cancer risk." If this is confirmed, then I guess there will have to be a public information campaign, complete with celebrity endorsements etc. Wonder who they'll rope in? (And why does Robbie Williams immediately spring to mind?) Oh, this could be so good...

That is the best news I have read all week. I think they should have George Michels do PSA.

I can picture the headlines now: "How to 'beat' cancer"

I couldn't believe the headline when I saw it on CNN the other day. We were in a restaurant and I almost spit out my food.

It's good for your arm muscles too...

Another thing to consider is whether they've possibly mixed up the cause and effect in this study. For all we know, men who are less likely to develop cancer masturbate more because they're healthier - not vice versa.

For the people who say that u cvan reduce cancer by just masturbating is highly unethical. I will be going under chemotherapy and radiotherapy in a months time.
i had cancer due to the fact of masturbating. cancer is where u get it because your hormones in your body starts to change and that's what masturbating does. for the past years i have masturbating regurlarly and now i have a buzzing sound in my ear due to masturbating.
even my reletives who i know has sexual intercourse reguly and creates semen has cancer now.
so would you put it to this way that masturbating for some people is a bad thing and creste health issues? i believe so
go on herbolove to find the side effect of over masturbating which is highl true

Aha, so now masturbating is a method of cancer prevention... I wonder if it helps women the same way. I know a couple crazy dudes who will get their "masturbation instrument" torn off soon in order to prevent prostate cancer.

It's no suprise. I'm only wondering why it took so long to discover that wuat is natural, ejaculation, is of course healthy and necessary. This teaches us that we haven't been ejaculating as often as we should. I was jerked off a lot when I was young by a friend. It left me with the bad habit and I have always hated him for it. With this news I almost want to reach out and thank him. Though my friend didn't intend it, he probably saved my life. My dad and uncle died of prostate cancer. With help from sited like yours, the practice becoming accepted and is quickly spreading.

I started masturbating when I was 10 years old before I was able to ejaculate but that was the reason I started masturbating, to see if I could cum. It was a common notion among my friends back then that you weren't a man until you could cum so we kept masturbating on a regualr basis until we finally could. Once I was able to cum I was hooked! I've been doing it for 73 years now but when I was 68 years old I was diagnosed with prostate cancer. I had two types of radiation treatment, the radioactive seeds implanted followed up with 7 weeks of external beam radiation. I still masturbate and have an orgasm but I no longer have any ejaculate/semen. Also it doesn't feel as good as it did for those 58 years before I had prostate cancer. But old habits are hard to break! >:)

This news about masterbating preventing cancer is just making an excuse to masterbate, just like when the news a while ago that told people that consuming a glass of wine a DAY... helps one's heart, when you think about it having a glass of wine a day could turn one into an alcholic and could cause poisoning of the liver. If someone does not agree... then drink a glass of wine one per day for seven days then completely cut yourself off of the wine then see if it is truley easy not to pick up a glass of wine on the eighth day, it may be hard to do. So If one is thinking that masterbation can help stop cancer is a fool because in order to prevent or even stop cancer the masterbator's hand will eventually have very severe carpriol syndrom or eventually could fall Off! www.myspace.com/gofishonthesand
