The radio is one of the reasons I am very pleased with my iRiver H320. And the video player. And the recording facility. And the fact that it recognizes my camera and other devices straight away.

I still have iPod envy though, if only on counts of looks (the iRiver is butt-ugly, bless it) and plugins (AudioScrobbler, anyone?)

It's a tad unlikely you'll ever get DAB for the iPod - unless some enterprising UK manufacturer creates a plugin. Then you'd get the best of both worlds...
