I've been watching Season 1 back recently. Seeing episodes where the team rallies behind Leo suddenly gained an extra poignancy.
That's what I thought too when I saw his age in the obit; he looked far older than 58. But then he did have a history of alcoholism in his past which might account for that.
Also, the current series on E4 (a repeat for Americans or the Irish) with Leo recovering from his heart attack takes on somewhat of a tragic irony now.
