I caught a quick glimpse of this on Monday night. This guy's a powerhouse. "Infectious enthusiasm" indeed!
I agree. I was expecting some waffly pretentions rubbish, and the title made me more than a tad wary, but I couldn't stop watching -- the man knows his stuff. And he even makes sense out of David Lynch! Must see/read more.
I was particularly interested in the stuff about the relationship of reality-in-movies to other/everyday realities (or whatever, it was quite late), and his psychoanalytical crossover stuff.

I wanted to watch this, but I couldn't understand his accent on the trailers, so for me it would have been a bit of a bugger to watch.
I don't think they have subtitles on More4 do they?
