- Alan Yentob wants to know why You Tube matters to you It's weird. This couldn't look more cheap and yet simultaneously staged if it tried. I'm sort of weirded out by it. Interesting move, but at the same time, could you look any more stiff and formal?

That Tobias is a bit pretty though (tenuously on-topic, I know).

Well, I know that in the new series of 'Imagine' one programme is about blogging. Mainly because I did some filming for it the other day in front of some nasty 70's style wallpaper.
Oh, and plenty of sitting and typing, in a revolving chair.
So it's either for that programme or something similar.
It's probably weird because we aren't used to seeing such things on Youtube, perhaps it would be less weird if it were on the telly?

I had the same feeling Tom. But is that because the web community feels it 'owns' YouTube? Like when you find a great pub or bar, you don't want every Tom (no offence), Dick and Harry turning up.

I was very tempted to do a mashup and response by putting subtitles (woody Allan style) under all that. Luckily I do not have enough time for such frippery.
