- Incredible imagery of a graffiti covered building in New York City... Sort of glorious. I need go exploring more with my camera. Interesting photos are based on interesting subjects. Too many pictures in my Flickr stream of chocolate eggs and croissants...
- The best bit ever in Life on Mars (no spoilers) is the famous Camberwick Green intro to the episode... I keep saying the lines from this to people and no one knows what I'm on about, so I thought I should probably link to the damn thing.

I don't think it's necessarily true that interesting photos are based on interesting subjects - I think it's perspective, and the choices you make, that make a photograph interesting. You've just got to give yourself time to take pictures - walk more, leave early, take a different route.

No one knows what you're on about? Where have they been? I was checking a tape the other day before I recorded over it and that bit was on it - it was just delightful.
"Sam Tyler" is now doing voice overs on radio adverts. Somehow I just can't take them seriously.

This version:

continues up to the great line "I can just about handle you driving like a pissed up crackhead and treating women like beanbags, but I'm going to say this once and once only, Gene. Stay out of Camberwick Green."

Thanks for the Youtube link. I haven't got audio on my work PC, and I don't often miss it. This is one of those times, though.
"Is it Gene Hunt?"
"Is he kicking a nonce?"

From a Radio Times interview with John Simm recently, he said: "There is a bloke that sounds like me. No, really! I do some, every so often. But there's a soundalike. Cheeky f****r! I'd break his legs if I found out who it was! They're trying to do something about it. I'm not joking, my Dad rings me up and says, 'When did you do that?' and I'd say, 'It's not me, Dad.' And he goes, 'It is you, I'd know your voice anywhere.' 'Dad, I'm telling you, it's not me!' He thinks I'm lying. I'd be a millionaire if I did all those voiceovers."
He does do loads, though.

That quote should of course have read
"Is he kicking in a nonce?"
Apologies all round!
