Fleadh
Saturday June 10

  Fleadh
Now over a decade old, this Mean Fiddler institution presents a collection of acts with Celtic roots (some vaguely) over two main stages. There'll be much picnicking, drinking and making merry to varied live sounds from pop favourites The Corrs, plus rare sets from The Undertones (minus Feargal Sharkey) and Prefab Sprout, and performances from fine songsmiths Suzanne Vega, Kirsty MacColl and Billy Bragg. All this, plus the beautifully eclectic dance fusion of Nitin Sawhney, folk heroes Lonnie Donegan and Bert Jansch, plus the richly expressive Cathal Coughlan. The festival site is pretty exposed, so don't forget your sunblock.
Tickets cost £32 (020 7344 0044).
Transport: Finsbury Park tube.
